About Georgina Hood
“Reiki has become the thread that links all aspects of my life together” says Georgina Hood. She discovered the practise in London in 2010 and immediately felt reconnected to a deep sense of ‘knowing’ she has felt since childhood. After receiving Reiki treatments and training from Lizzie McCallum, Georgina Hood went on to study Reiki with Anneli Twan, daughter of revered Canadian Reiki master Wanja Twan, and was initiated as a Reiki master by Anneli Twan in June 2013.
Georgina is currently a teaching Reiki Master registered with the CNHC, primarily working in private practice from her home in Battersea; although she can also see clients at Evolve Wellness Centre in South Kensington. Georgina also works in public practice at St Charles Centre for Health & Wellbeing, in association with Local Authority projects and the NHS for the London Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
The practice of Reiki perfectly complements Georgina’s years of work in education. Georgina is the founding Principal of Paint Pots Montessori Schools in London. After 25 years the helm of Paint Pots’ five ground-breaking Montessori schools and creative classes, Georgina continues to teach weekly, specialising in work with mothers and babies, embodying a true passion for her practice.
As a dedicated mother of 4, Georgina’s symbiotic worlds of work and home coincide. She uses Reiki with her family and pets and offers formal Reiki treatments and classes from her home in London. Georgina says, “Through Reiki I have found a stillness and strength that underpins all areas of my life”.
